SICILY. Entella (?). Punic issues, circa 320/15-300 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 17.05 g, 2 h). Head of Tanit-Persephone to left, wearing wreath of grain leaves, triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; around, four dolphins. Rev. π€π€Œπ€Œπ€‡π€π€• ('mmhnt = 'People of the Camp' in Punic) Head of a horse to left; behind, palm tree with two date clusters. Boston MFA 491 (same dies). Jenkins, Punic, 156 (O48/R141). SNG Lockett 1050 (same obverse die). An elegant and beautifully toned coin. Light cleaning marks on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
